On November 18th from 11:20 to 17:06 UTC, Glimmernet services were impacted by a network-wide outage affecting Cloudflare’s infrastructure.
What you may have experienced
- Complete site downtime
- Inability to access your dashboard or log in
- Form submission failures due to Turnstile (bot protection) being unavailable
- Intermittent errors even when services appeared to be up
Our response
Our UptimeVision monitoring caught the issue immediately, so we were tracking everything in real-time. That said, this was an infrastructure-level issue with our provider, so we were stuck waiting for Cloudflare’s team to work their magic. Our own site and support systems were down too, so trust us when we say we were watching this closely.
What happened
Cloudflare experienced a rare but significant outage caused by a database configuration change that cascaded through their bot management system.
